ReasonWorks Engineering is the independent practice of Ioan Moldovan MSc CEng, a chartered electrical design engineer with 13 years of experience across life sciences, rail, industrial, and public sector projects in the UK and Europe.
How I work
Every design starts with the fundamentals: what the installation needs to do, how it will be built, and how it will be maintained. I produce clear, coordinated design information — calculations, drawings, and specifications that contractors can price and build from without ambiguity.
Working with an independent consultant means you deal directly with the engineer doing the work. No handoffs — just experienced design input, scaled to what your project actually needs. I work with industry-standard tools including Amtech, Dialux, Revit, and Bluebeam.
Credentials
Chartered Engineer
CEng registered with the Engineering Council, with an MSc in Building Services.
Sector experience
Life sciences and pharmaceutical, rail, industrial, and public sector — including highly regulated environments.
Professional standards
Designs to BS 7671, BS 7430, BS 5266, and current British and European standards. Professional indemnity insurance held.
