MileWorks is a business mileage tracking app for iOS, developed by ReasonWorks Engineering Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
Mileage and trip data you enter or record in the app is stored on your device. We do not upload it to our servers.
Advertising: the free version of MileWorks displays adverts served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location, IP address, and information about your interaction with adverts. This data is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). If you consent to tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, adverts may be personalised; if you decline, you will see non-personalised adverts.
Purchases: if you buy the “Remove Ads” upgrade, the payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details.
How we use information
We use advertising data solely to display adverts that fund the free version of the app. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your mileage data for any purpose other than providing the app’s features on your device.
Your choices
You can decline ad tracking when prompted, reset your advertising identifier in iOS Settings, or remove adverts entirely by purchasing the Remove Ads upgrade. You can delete all app data by deleting the app.
